Finally a low cost Fujifilm option for their great X series cameras.
Fuji went for a versatile 35mm focal lenght and saved costs by using mostly plastic vs the rugged metal build of the XF 35mm F2.
That being said, they used the same optical recipe, so stellar image quality!
- A great second lens that just might become your favourite lens.
- The 35mm focal lenght (equivalent to a 50mm on Full-frame cameras) is a sweet spot for capturing a bit of everything around you and with a natural perspective (less distortion than wide angle lenses for example).
- Bright f/2 aperture for those low-light situtations such as indoor events and gatherings. Shooting wide open at f/2.0 will also allow you to blur out the background and make your subjects standout.
- Very small and compact – 58 x 48 mm and only 130 grams – you get really nice image quality and autofocus without adding any weight. An ideal lens for leaving on the camera or just having tucked away in a bag or pocket.
