Absolutely outstanding lens!
Yes it’s dear, but then again, this is one of Sony’s all time best prime lenses. If you are going to spend, we think a 35mm lens is a good choice.
Highly recommended.
- Weather-sealed and featuring fluorine coatings, this is a lens made to be used.
- 35mm focal length, bright f/1.4 aperture, class leading coatings, powerful focus motors – this lens is a street and reportage photographer’s dream.
- Paired with an 85mm (G Master, why not) you have all you need for event photography (weddings, ceremonies, launches, etc…).
- Although it does show some focus breathing, the linear focusing and well-dampened ring make for smooth focus pulls while recording video. The de-clickable aperture ring is a plus!
- Focus real button on lens can be reassigned to other controls.
