The Sigma 35mm F1.2 DG II Art lens is substancially smaller (110mm in lenght) and lighter (30% less than the previous version), yet Sigma have also been able to reduce the minimum focus distance with the help of floating elements in the lens design and minimise the focus breathing – making this a hybrid shooters dream lens.
You still get the mainstay ART-series goodies like a de-clickable aperture ring, custom function button, super fast and bright f/1.2 aperture with 11 bladed iris for beautiful background blur and pro-grade lens construction and coatings for perfect photos in any type of light including mixed lighting often found at events.
