The L-series 70-200mm f/4 has always been a good seller for Canon and so we are surprised they were able to improve on it.
Thanks to an external zoom, the lens is now more compact (5 centimetres shorter) while still retaining all the ruggedness and weather-sealing.
Although some photographers prefer the internal zoom, we have found most people that have actually held and used this new RF version have been very pleased with how it feels.
Pairs nicely with Canon’s RF 24-70mm F2.8L lens.
